Founded in 1951, JDC is today, one of Japan's leading companies with active business operations in construction and civil engineering. Over the past four decades, we have handled a growing number of important projects which include buildings, roads, bridges, dams, power plants, hotels, resorts, and even entire townships.

In 1979, we began operations in Singapore and Southeast Asia, successfully completing a wide range of projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. We have undertaken work as the main contractor, a joint venture partner, as well as on a design and build basis (this is backed by the JDC Technical Research Institute that provides an integrated approach to architecture, structure, concrete, geotechnical and chemical research), and in the area of project management consultancy. We are a registered contractor with the Singapore BCA (Building & Construction Authority), Category B1 for both building & civil engineering and L3 for interior decoration and also we are certified for ISO 9001: 2008 , ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007.
